Neon Drift Rush

Neon Drift Rush is pure arcade racing joy. The tracks loop through glowing cityscapes and you drift around corners for a boost that you'll chain until you're going faster than your reflexes can handle. It's loud, it's bright, and it knows exactly what it is.

You can steer by tilting the phone or by on-screen buttons. I preferred tilt once I turned the sensitivity down a notch. The car handling has just enough weight to feel like skill matters, without demanding a steering wheel peripheral.

Races are short, so it's perfect for a quick adrenaline hit. The only gripe is the track list runs thin after a while, but what's there is polished and fun to replay for better times.

What we liked

• Flexible tilt or button controls
